Your fascination with Apple is beyond me. IBM was the competitor of apple? NO!!! It was always microsoft. “Microsoft has fallen off???”” WHATTTTT?? It is the most valuable company in the world with more than a trillion dollars asset. It has surpassed apple. It is making way more innovation with surface products than Apple ever did. And there you are... Ahhhh

I love videos like this because it not only makes me think about my positions in both of my jobs but also in my personal life. I sometimes find myself competing against others who sometimes do not deserve my time or are stronger in areas that I am weak. Yes, this is speaking directly about business but who do I consider a "rival" personally? That's the question I have to answer more often.

What's wrong with the 3 people who disliked this video.
Maybe they're obsessed about Apple always being used as an example above all.
The difference is, though the company has lost most of its key creative strategies, yet they're still strong because they still maintain a just cause though they are flexible in operations most times but the JUST CAUSE is in tact.
Most companies lose their just cause along the way, so they keep doing what they don't stand for.

Competition, it brings out the best and it brings out the worst. We need competition in politics and get rid of the current bunch of crooks

They are always there in an environment of anyone can start a business. We all have competition and it sucks at times. But it does drive innovation and forces us to not be complacent. The game continues...

you shouldn't go around telling people who your rival is, the whole point of using a rival to propel yourself, is so the pressure comes from the inside. if you go around telling people, they will start calling you out for it, and then the pressure becomes external.

Love your candor and this story. It’s so real and relatable. These days, it’s easy to get caught up in what your rivals are doing to a point that it interferes with your own work. When you change your perspective and look at it as a good thing everything changes. Perhaps even a collaboration and/or friendship results from it just like yours did.
