- Published: 20 March 2018
- Harlem Globetrotters star Zeus McClurkin brought a belated birthday surprise to 10-year-old Ethan, who has a rare disease called ectrodactyly ectodermal dysplasia.
The Globetrotters learned about Ethan’s story through a mutual friend in Wildwood, NJ, where Ethan’s family visited last summer to make sure he would see the ocean in his lifetime. Ethan has undergone over 30 surgeries and his condition affects his eyesight.
Zeus surprised Ethan with a Globetrotters jersey and tickets to the game in nearby Minneapolis on March 31.
