Such a great song along with a competent and respectful job turned in by JT. Love this, is it stunned silence or indifference from the crowd???

Wilco wrote the music. Woody wrote the lyrics.

I've watched this so many times. Woody's lyrics should be considered one of the greatest love poems ever written and Tweedy did them ample justice.

I learned the reason why man must work and how to dream big dreams,
To conquer time and space and fight the rivers and the seas
I stand here filled with my emptiness now and look at city and land
And I know why farms and cities are built by hot, warm, nervous hands.

His music, persona, (fantastic sense of humour!) and down to earth raw talent speaks to all of us,;like a beloved family member, or one of your oldest best friends, that is a pleasure to hang with, and cheers you up, no matter how bummed out you are.
