The US ... climate change deniers , flat earthers , stepping out of deals and cancelling commitments / official agreements because of a Capt. Bonespurs who wants to make some money for his family and so called friends.
I do feel sorry for my friends in the USA, but you got the leader that you deserve.

If Rep. Jeffries has been paying attention, he should know that in a post trump world, words no longer have consequences.

In Hong Kong, a million people demonstrated against the Chinese Bully. In the USA a million people plan to raid Area 51. Think about that. Don't you have a Bully of your own to demonstrate against? What is more important?

Make no mistake, The POTUS is no longer the presumed "leader of the free world" the moment the world has no leader that is desperately needed, the fear is that some despot will step in to the void left by Trump........I just hope when Trump is gone that the rest of the free world will forgive America for what they have done.........I doubt they will trust America for a time....a long time!

Please don’t call Republicans “conservatives”. They aren’t and haven’t been for over four decades. Google the “Two Santa Claus theory” for a guide to the cynical doctrine that the GOP has used to manipulate the country since 1976.

@Grace Grit and Gloryis blinded to the corruption within both parties when corporations are provided "free speech" of unlimited bribes. Unlimited bribes to direct legislation away from what the majority of voters need & desire. Medicare for All, not endless wars benefiting energy companies. Tax funded free college, not corporate welfare. People need living wages indexed to inflation, not corporate tax cuts that steal from infrastructure rebuilding...Jeffries Pelosi & Schumer are corporate purchased politicians

People that support parties often push patriotism as the reason for following their side while they attack the other party. It's like, you aren't a patriot unless you support the president or don't help us remove him from office. Patriotism is loving your country while keeping your individuality and ability to think and speak freely. Not just follow blindly and support the team and their version of the country. I believe you put our country first but it has to be a version of the country that supports different perspectives even if they go against the leader's party or his opposition. Destroying half the country to win an election has to be bad for the constitution and the country, in the long run. Too many support the now only.

Patriotism is part of it but I believe too many people treat their preferred political party like their favourite football team. It’s more about beating the other side than thinking about what is better for themselves & the country.

First of all, everyone is naive in more than one area ... Heck you're hard pressed to find a true master in any single subject, let alone complex subjects with many different specialists, such economics, politics, medicine, world affairs etc.

Secondly, you have to be careful not to confuse hopeful motive with naivety. Cynics only tend to be wise on risks and chance of failure since cynicism places their focus there. While the hopeful tend toward wisdom of what could be.

The most judicial use of wisdom is to not be blindsided by potential failures, but take care to avoid or overcome them if possible, all while not losing sight of the hopeful path to a better place, doing those things needed to get there...

This man is the biggest phony. He talks big, but he and his staff are the ones who are sowing the seeds of division between the progressive wing and the moderate/establishment Democrats. They continuously leak bits of info to journalists who they know are going to amplify and fan the flames.

He and his staff run the House Democrats twitter page—they went out of their way to dig up an old tweet from a staffer, to create a fissure, when there needn't have been one. They'll say one thing publicly, "let's not tweet things at each other, keep our disagreements internal," then go about doing the exact opposite. Then they'll point back and say how bad those leftist libs are.

And because the media is so damn thirsty for any piece of gossip, and eager to demonize the progressive members whenever they can, they just uncritically take the establishment's position, without even looking into it. He is disingenuous. It's really heartbreaking.

Don't make it about BLAME. As I was saying earlier, the people to be concerned about are the apathetic non-voters who got him elected. You won't get them to vote with a corporatist candidate or by the accusations you just leveled at me. We need a candidate who wants to make peoples lives better. Offering to give your vote to anyone, no matter what, gives the DNC absolutely no motivation to do anything other than rig the primary and suppress the progressives like they did last time. And if that happens, we'll get someone worse than Trump the time after that because he might be competent.

@Kris Niznik I'm telling you the truth, it's not my job to get you to vote or speak to you in a way that sugarcoats the truth. I'm commenting on a youtube video, not running for president.

You are going to lose your healthcare when you sit out the next election and you will only have yourself to blame, it's weird that you are less worried about that than the language a stranger uses.

@Creator My point is your inflammatory language, calling people children etc. making accusations, and generally being uncivil, is just mirroring the Republicans that you profess to dislike. Voter shaming will not bring out voters to your side. By making it personal and about me, you are acting like a conservative, not a liberal, and certainly not a progressive. That is not how you convince voters. People need a POSITIVE reason to vote for someone, not just negativity.
The candidate needs to be for Medicare for all, the Green new deal, ending the wars, free college, etc. The Biden, Harris, Booker crowd are transparently insincere like the guy above, because they're working for corporations and insurance companies, not for the people, just like the Republicans.

I don't care who you vote for, if you take a tantrum because the candidate is not progressive enough for your liking, you deserve all you get, period. That's the cold hard truth and 2016 should have taught you all this.

Compromising is what adults do, throwing tantrums and cutting off your nose to spite your face is what children do. If the truth upsets you, that's on you.

If you are progressive, get a progressive candidate on the ticket. If you're not, you won't be able to bully people who are into voting for centrists, they are busy trying to elect progressives. You are speaking in the same tone that Trump uses. Don't use his tactics if you want to defeat him. Only 26% of the people voted for him. The others need to have something good to vote for. Then they will.
