Global Hand Sanitizing Relay 2015 supported by WHO

  • The Global Hand Sanitizing Relay is a part of the World Health Organization (WHO) “Clean Care is Safer Care” with aim to promote hand hygiene and prevent infections. As of 5 May 2015, WHO World Hand Hygiene Day, Prof. Didier Pittet and staff at the WHO Collaborating Centre on Patient Safety in Geneva proposed to all hospitals around the world to perform a Hand Sanitizing Relay.
    In 2015, 132 hospitals from 43 countries over the 5 continents have performed a Relay!

    ● 우리나라에서는 <세계소위생의 날> 에 대한 언론 보도가 없었고 보건복지부나 질병관리본부는 물론이고 식품의약품안전처에서도 아무런 행사도 없었습니다. 하도 기가 막혀 모 언론사에 제보를 하였건만 마의동풍이었습니다.
