Global Hand Sanitizing Relay 2015 supported by WHO

- The Global Hand Sanitizing Relay is a part of the World Health Organization (WHO) “Clean Care is Safer Care” with aim to promote hand hygiene and prevent infections. As of 5 May 2015, WHO World Hand Hygiene Day, Prof. Didier Pittet and staff at the WHO Collaborating Centre on Patient Safety in Geneva proposed to all hospitals around the world to perform a Hand Sanitizing Relay.
In 2015, 132 hospitals from 43 countries over the 5 continents have performed a Relay!
